Don’t judge, okay?? “Writing Project” is a mandatory course for music theorists at Mannes!! Professor Hedi Siegel is absolutely wonderful. She feels more like a grandmother to me than a professor – not that I don’t respect her knowledge and authority!!

This was our first lesson together – I brought her some cupcakes.
