My Twenty-Second Trumpet Lesson with Professor Benjamin Aldridge

This is my 22nd lesson with Benjamin Aldridge, the cutest old trumpet man in the world!

During this lesson, he told me a story about him and his friend Timothy Perry, the director of the university symphony at Binghamton University – that 35 years ago, professor Perry and Aldridge were at Taiwan. Neither of them could speak any Chinese. One day, a dog came outside of a house to chase them, and the owner came outside to yell at the dog, who immediately returned to the house. Professor Aldridge said:”Tim, that dog understands more Chinese than we do.”

Ok, it was really funny when he said it, okay!??!
