This is my 12th trumpet lesson with professor Benjamin Aldridge.

Due to my horrible, horrible, horrible sense of direction, I got lost again on my way to his office. I made up the part about the fat guy of course! ( Or did I?)

In this lesson, I asked professor Aldridge if he had anything written by people alive for me to play. He hesitated and said “Yes!” … and said “No” after 10 seconds of silence.

The unfortunate truth is, many great musicians are now dead.
